Geospacial Chase
A downloadable game for Windows
Demonstrative application on visualizing geographical data for use as a playable environment in a video game.
This game application is part of a survey in concern to the observation and assessment of player engagement - and ultimately being used to form a scientific study about the influence that the gamification of geospacial data has on player engagement.
Survey Procedure:
- Download the manual and review it
- Download the executable package
- Play through the demonstration (duration: ~15 mins) by starting geochase_v1.0c.exe
- Choose one of the cached locations and wait for the world to load
- Press Tab to see the next assignment
- Enter the range
- Interact with buildings (marked red on the minimap)
- Find the correct building
- Continue with the Survey!
- Thank you!
